Questa carrozza venne costruita per Papa Pio IX (prima metà dell'Ottocento) e venne usata dal Pontefice per gli spostamenti tra Roma e altre città: in particolare venne usata per il suo rientro dall'esilio a Gaeta a seguito dei moti rivoluzionari della Repubblica Romana del 1849.

This carriage was built for Pope Pius IX (first half of the nineteenth century) and was used by the Pope for travel between Rome and other cities: in particular it was used for his return from exile in Gaeta following the revolutionary uprisings of the Roman Republic of 1849.

Questo "Cockpit Systems Simulator" è stato impiegato presso il Centro Addestramento Alitalia negli anni 1980-1997 per l'addestramento di piloti e tecnici di volo, per un totale di 32600 ore.
Oggi "riposa" nel Museo del Volo a Volandia, a fianco dell'aeroporto di Milano Malpensa.

This "Cockpit Systems Simulator" was used at the Alitalia Training Center from 1980 to 1997 for the training of pilots and flight technicians, for a total of 32,600 hours.
Today it "rests" in the Museum of Flight at Volandia, next to the Milan Malpensa airport (Italy).

L'esemplare in foto è l'unico esposto in Italia e si trova al Museo del Volo a Volandia, a fianco dell'aeroporto di MIlano Malpensa.

Il concept Gm Carousel di Bertone del 2002 propone un abitacolo flessibile con piattaforma rotante, dove è possible decidere dove sedersi per guidare e se farlo con un volante ripiegabile o attraverso un joystick. La carrozzeria non esiste: il design di Bertone si gioca sulla forma dei sedili e sui piccoli parafanghi.

Bertone's 2002 GM Carousel concept offers a flexible cockpit with a rotating platform, where it is possible to decide where to sit to drive and whether to do so with a folding steering wheel or via a joystick. The bodywork does not exist: Bertone's design is played on the shape of the seats and the small fenders.
