Anghiari is a Tuscan village in the province of Arezzo (Italy).
The fame of the village stems from the fact that it was the scene of the battle fought in the year 1440 between Milan and Florence and later painted by Leonardo da Vinci.
Its historical center is well preserved and deserves to be visited.

Passeggiavo per il bel borgo toscano di Anghiari quando, arrivato in Piazza Baldaccio, mi sono accorto che sulla testa della statua di Garibaldi era stato messo un cappellino natalizio...buone feste anche a Gaibaldi!

I was walking through the nice village of Anghiari (Tuscany region, Italy) when, arrived in Baldaccio Square, I realized that on the head of Garibaldi statue (Garibaldi was an italian patriot in the 1800's) someone put a christmas hat....happy feasts Garibaldi!
