We'll just take a brief wander, down another visual path. Harman, released a new colour 35mm film, Harman Phoenix 200. There hasn't been a new colour film for quite some time, so I am in! I bought 2 rolls. Loaded one in my Lomo LC-A+, forgot to change the 6 year old batteries and consequently, the first film was, basically, ruined...
Ah well, batteries changed and Harman Phoenix roll 2 loaded. Off on another 35mm film adventure, in Lisbon.
This is almost straight out of the camera. Apart from a very minor straightening adjustment.
In my opinion, the film has red hues, is a bit grainy for ISO 200, and doesn't really handle shadows overly well. However, the overall contrast is pleasing, I do like the colour rendition and anyone that manufactures a new 35mm colour film, gets my vote. Well done Harman.
I love digital cameras. They are pretty predictable, quickly adjustable, reliable and you can see what you've got, immediately! The opposite of all those attributes, is why I love film!
