This marker is in Bodie Cemetery, Bodie Ghost town California.
I was told the 3 year old girl buried here was killed by the back stroke of a pick axe. She was too close when the axe came back and was struck in the top of her head.
If you look close you can see the young angel is pointing to the top of her head, the same spot little Evelyn was struck.
One of the many tragedies in this old west town.
