Another view of The Piedras Blancas Lighthouse which was built in 1874 -1875 and first illuminated in 1875. It originally stood 110' high. In 1949 the upper light portion was damaged in an earthquake and removed. Most of it is on display in Cambria, a short drive south on Hwy 1.
