CCCP-86671 on the Riem ramp during the 1972 Munich Summer Olympics. This Il-62 would crash less than two months later.
Aeroflot Tupolev Tu-104B CCCP-CCCP-42508, Interflug Tu-134 DM-SCB, Interflug Il-18D DM-STK and LOT Tu-134 SP-LGD were also noted at Riem that day.
Manufactured in May 1967, first noted at LBG on 29 May 1967; w/o 13 October 72 on the leg from Leningrad to Moscow-Sheremetyevo of a charter flight from Paris to Moscow when crashed on approach to Sheremetyevo at night from a height of some 500-600 metres (with neither landing gear nor flaps or spoilers deployed), the aircraft came down in a field near Ozeretskoye (N56.080556 E37.410001), Dmitrov district of the Moscow region) with an IAS of 620 km/h and a vertical speed of 12 m/s and ended up in a forest, all 10 crew and 164 passengers killed, the cause of the accident was never established; t/t 4,374 hours and 1,674 cycles; soc 27dec72.
