This shot was inspired by Marcel, one of my contacts who is amazing photographer who's work I would encourage you to check out. I enjoyed his series of flowers and plants with a black and white treatment. I created this image through focus stacking using 15 images then processed with Photomerge and Auto-Blend Layers in Photoshop for final results.

I went to an Orchid show today and let me tell you if I had $1 for everyone with a camera and throw in another $2 for those who had tripods I'd be a man with a fat wallet :-)
I've been working on learning how to create composites. This is my first attempt, I removed the orchid from its original background and put it on a texture.
