Nikon SB-900 with amber gel at 1/8 power and 24mm zoom aimed at white foamcore sheet background, white foamcore sheets placed on either side and top to add fill light.

Here are a few of the photography books I'm reading or referencing from time to time. My focus in photography has been focused on learning more about shooting with off camera flash or Strobist as it's commonly referred to.

Call me old school, I don't care for the e-readers that are readily available. I prefer to hold a book in my hand and manually flip through the pages.

Camera Settings: Nikon D3s with Nikkor 105mm f/2.8g lens with TC-20 III 2x teleconverter attached, Aperture f/8, Shutter Speed 200, ISO 100

Strobe Settings: Main Light - AlienBee 800 with 20 degree grid attached at 1/16th power camera right. AlienBee 800 with 10 degree grid attached at 1/8th power to backlight the flower.

Strobes triggered remotely using PocketWizard MiniTT1 transmitter with AC3 Zone Controller and FlexTT5 transceivers. PocketWizard AC9 AlienBee Adapter was connected to AlienBee's to enable TTL remote power control of strobes
