In view is the Panamint Mountain Range with snow and clouds. The Amargosa is running pretty good and later in this day went to Badwater and watched kayakers on Lake Manly. The lake was a strange sight.

Most water I have seen at Badwater - usually dry or faintly moist at the low point. Badwater parking area is to the right. Many canoes, kayaks and even a stand up paddleboard cruising around. In this view (although covered by water) is the lowest point in North America (-282').

The old way of the Tonopah & Tidewater Railroad at Acme, CA. A little worse from weather than when the railroad stopped running in 1940.

In Amargosa Canyon. the river is to the right. Several hiking trails converge here, thanks to the Amargosa Conservancy.
