I had to go back to this location twice to get the shot I wanted. For some reason the area I was focusing on didn't seem to work when I got back to the room. I went back and picked a different focus point and BAM. And a lesson learned for focusing on frozen falls, don't focus on the falls, focus on the surrounding features like rocks or trees that have good contrast!!! Learn from my mistakes!!! :) Kris.

I have been to this lake a few times when it is frozen over. The first time when I was a kid and I remember a car being parked in the middle of the lake. It was still partially frozen and I loved the leading lines caused by the cracks forming in the ice!! Kris

I spotted a few of these frozen falls on the way to Lillooet and just had to find one to photograph. This one caught my eye and I stopped on the side of the highway with traffic whizzing by me just by my feat. I came away with this 2 shot exposure blend that I think turned out nice!! Kris..
