This was the awesome view that accompanied me all the way over the Grand Mountet plateau - Wellenkuppe (3903m), Obergabelhorn (4063m) and the ice crest between the two peaks known as "Crête de Coeur".

The Ar Pitetta hut (2786 meters high) is located on the one comparatively narrow patch of green amidst a vast landscape of glaciers, rock walls and moraines. Behind the hut, Weisshorn (4505 m) and Schalihorn (3975 m).
