The Gemini MK2 was originally built in 1959 as the Moorland. Graham Warner (of the famous Chequered Flag Company) bought the company and renamed it after his birth-sign. The debut for the Gemini was the 1959 Boxing Day Race at Brands Hatch with Jim Clark driving.
Although the majority (exactly 24) of the 30 MK2's built were exported to the United States, they were also regularly raced in England with Geoff Duke (of motorcycle fame), Mike Beuttler, and the boss Graham Warner.
The Gemini MK4 was in many ways way ahead of its time. With its incredibly low slung driving position, slippery
streamline bodywork, inboard disc brakes and springs both front and rear, side radiators and 6-speed gearbox, it was
one of the most advanced Formula Juniors ever built. Only a small few examples were built and they never gained the
true success they deserved as the class drew to a close not long after their arrival
