Cooper Chinook (FF) (1970) Engine 1600cc S4 Ford

Chinook racing cars were built in Canada, by Hungarian brothers Rudy and George Fejer between 1966-70. They began by producing cars for F5000, , Can-Am, Formula Vee and Indycar racers.
In 1969 when Cooper closed ints doors the entire stock of moulds and jigs were purchased by the Fejer brothers of Toronto, after the purchase they built the Cooper Chinook FF, these cars were simular in design to the Lotus 51/61 with a body simular to the Lotus 59. The cars ran in Formula Ford spec, with 1699XF engines with some conforming to Formula B specificarion and powered by Lotus Twin Cam engines.

This car raced at Silverstone in the Balvenie Trophy for Historic Formula Ford
