We moved into our new house a few months ago and discovered that we had inherited some lovely roses, such as the one above from the front garden. I do not know what kind it is except that it is pretty. If anyone can identify it, please contact me. Thanks. The photo was taken in May 2018, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.
P.S. I have finished the spring planting in my vegetable garden and will be slowly catching up with my Flickr friends and contacts. Thanks for your patience.

Here is another photo from my garden. I do not know what kind of flower this bee seems rather attracted to, but it certainly produces some marvellous colours. If anyone can identify this type of flower, please contact me. Thanks. The photo was taken in June 2018, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.

This is the first in a series of shots showcasing the hummingbirds in my garden. In order to attract hummingbirds, I planted hot lips and bee balm flowers in strategic spots. :) Fortunately several hummingbirds have taken up residence in my garden, and I am able to photograph them nearly everyday as they grow with my garden. :) I could have cropped this photo, but I wanted to show how very small these hummingbirds are in relationship to the flowers. The photo was taken in June 2018, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.

This is a shot from my garden. It shows a ladybug in a purple bee balm flower going through its morning stretching exercises. If you look carefully, you can see a second ladybug just underneath one of the adjoining leaves. The photo was taken in July 2018, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.

This is the next shot in my backyard hummers series. In this shot, the hummingbird has paused to consider just where to begin feeding on this lovely red bee balm flower. The shot also shows the small size of hummingbirds. Next to hot lips salvia, I think the bee balm flower is one of the bird's favourite sources of food in the area. In addition to the red bee balm above, I also have pink and purple varieties, too. As a result, I see hummingbirds everyday in my garden. :) The photo was taken in June 2018, withy my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.
