Here is another photo of a toad lily from our front flower garden. This type of lily is extremely small, no larger than my thumb. I find the many water drops along the "tentacles" particularly interesting. See large. The photo was taken in September 2023, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy and stay well.

This shot showcases one of the toad lilies growing in our flower garden late last summer. The toad lily is a difficult flower to photograph because of its tiny size (barely larger than my thumb) and its flowing tentacles (difficult for focusing). I really do not know very much about the flower, but I find the numerous bubbles along the tentacles an interesting feature. See large. This is a photo of a lovely orange lily from last year's front flower garden. It was taken on a rainy day. So far, we have had a very mild spring. The next generation of this lily has already surpassed in height the previous generation, and we look forward to even lovelier flowers. :) The photo was taken in July 2023, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. These are our first lilies of the season. We planted them last year, and this year they have come back bigger and more beautiful than before! I counted at least twenty blossoms.
