...I wish I was a pitcher....

Our young guy throws what looks to be a two-seam fastball...but when I was behind the cage at home plate it had a lot of downward motion to it...mabey a slider that looks super slow just because the guy throwing it doesnt have the strongest arm in the world because hes 9....

Young pitchers dont start to throw breaking balls until 13 or so...mostly becasue they can seriously injure their arms doing so before their muscles develop....

My brother takes a small lead off second base after getting his first stolen base of his career...I know it doesnt mean much at this level of play but I love ANY type of baseball....

My bro's stats so far...3 At-Bats, 2 Walks, 1 Strikeout, 1 Stolen Base, 0 Runs....

Pitcher number two for the Angels looked pretty good too...walked a guy and then the Royals brought him home witha double and then brought him home with another double...but our guy got two strikeouts after that episode and finished strong....

This guy was pretty good...always neat to see how athletes begin their career...who knows...mabey this kid will end up in the MLB...he is off to a great start throwing like he did yesterday....
