About 15 minutes after the last drop of rain from the second severe storm of the night I went down my block survey the damage....

Heres my house, my car...and of course my typically flooded street...damn city has never fixed our sewers....

Sorry for the crappy quality...ISO 800 flash and low shutter speed....

On the west side of the street and four houses south of me a whole tree came crashing down into the owners backyard almost making Berwyn Ave unpassable and disconnecting his phone service....

I had to go pick my dad up form work at 6:30 AM and before I jumped on the highway I took a look around my neighborhood...it looked pretty much the same as the night before minus the flooding....

These two evergreens were plowed over by the wind from (Im assuming by the direction they were blown over....) the second storm....

It sure looks like my neighborhood got it worst out of Chicago's damage path...in an area from I-90 on the north, Natoma Ave on the West, Gunnison Ave on the south and I-90/Central Ave on the east there were several downed trees and tree limbs as well as street lights and utility wires...one of the worst storms Ive ever seen in Chicago....
