Right on the corner of Foster Ave and Austin Ave this tree appears to have been struck by lightning and the motorist traveling west on Foster Ave didnt have much time to anything but crash into the tree....

As you can see...westbound traffic is moving off of Foster Ave onto Austin Ave and into my neighborhood to detour....

About 15 minutes after the last drop of rain from the second severe storm of the night I went down my block survey the damage....

Heres my house, my car...and of course my typically flooded street...damn city has never fixed our sewers....
