13th-century stained glass roundel in south window, St Leonard's church, Grateley, Hampshire.

Along with other pieces of medieval glass in the church, this was rescued in 1787 by a Mr William Benson Earle when the architect James Wyatt (for reasons best known to himself) decided that the appearance of Salisbury Cathedral would be improved by getting rid of all its medieval stained glass, along with its screen and its detached belltower. Go figure ...
