Taken 28/08/13; It looks convincing, but the Black Five is tailing the up service, which due to a steam loco shortage is topped by a Class 47. Both tracks through Bournemouth are, of course, reversible, so the illusion of the loco' heading a down inter-regional service is complete. At Southampton No. 45231 will became the train engine when the service initially heads west, picking up the Romsey line at Redbridge Junction.
