Taken 28/08/22 at the Great Dorset Steam Fair; from what I can work out from 'Flickr Spying' this was probably new to Texaco. Some Flickrerites refer to it as a Mark One T3046C and apparently it has a post-1970 Mark Two bumper (as fitted to the Atkinson Borderer) and modern spec wing mirrors. This is all way beyond my level of truck knowledge or interest!

Taken 28/08/22 at the Great Dorset Steam Fair; the DAF is too modern to pique my interest, but add a Bulleid Pacific in to the mix and I'm happy enough.
At some point I should explain that the GDSF has expanded over the years to general nostalgia rather than being limited just to steam exhibits.

Taken 28/08/22 at the Great Dorset Steam Fair; strange how the years slip by, until I saw this loco on static display it had slipped by mine that it returned to steam in 2012 and was now 'out of ticket'. In fairness the pandemic has distorted many things and, unusually for a loco owned by Southern Locomotives Ltd., it has spent much of its time away from the Swanage Railway. So maybe that is how ten years just slipped by!
