As the shots of 1020.18 are so poor, I've added a couple of West German E94's taken on a Sunday afternoon trip around Ingolstadt shed in 1987, coincidentally exactly one year after seeing 1020.18.
Ingolstadt was one of the last two homes for these locos in West Germany before withdrawal in that country in 1988, and there were 16 present at the time of this visit.
194 022 may well have been the oldest survivor still working in the country at the time, and is in substantially as built external condition, with the three framed cabfront windows.
The loco was built by AEG in February 1941, joining E94 001 at Innsbruck shed for heavy freight duties over the Brenner.
