Another set from twelve years ago, taken around Whitacre.

One of Fastline's small fleet of Sheds brings the 10.00 Radcliffe - Daw Mill empties west through the site of the former station here. The train ran round, I think, at Washwood Heath and came back east to Daw Mill colliery on the Nuneaton line.

Both Fastline and Daw Mill are sadly now long gone.

Cossington; 66304 on 6D62, 11.51 Daw Mill - Ratcliffe. The 66/3's were quite new then, and a sign that Fastline was on the up!

This well known spot at the south end of the yard complex is a fair bit more treed in now, with the Wagon Works building at centre having been demolished some years ago.

Coal was still being mined in Britain back then, and this is the 10.30 Ratcliffe PS - Daw Mill empties. The loco would have run round the train here, and is now heading south.

The operator Fastline is also now a distant memory.

66415 leads 4G20, 11.01 Chaddesden - Portbury coal empties. This was a Fastline working, with the DRS loco hired in, as presumably were the GBRf hoppers.
