On the climb out of Burnley to the Waggonners Inn on what was formerly the A56, nearly new Transdev 2779, Volvo B9TL/ Wright Eclipse Gemini 2, forms an X43 Witch Way service to Manchester, possibly the 11.00 from Nelson.

I've moved east now to try my luck around Burnley and Rawtenstall, only to find more lamp posts!! Further pictures to follow.

Despite my best efforts at positioning, these lamp posts are proving unavoidable, and one wishes the Burghers of Blackburn had been less generous in their funding!

I think this vehicle was used on the flagship Witch Way X43 service from Manchester to Burnley and Nelson in its younger days - but see comment below.
