Seen here in early First livery, this is an MCW Metrobus DR102/51 of 1987 with bodywork by the now closed Northern Counties of Wigan.
Probably a few more of these to come.

The title not surprisingly was derived from the Selnec livery dating from 1969 (or thereabouts). Selnec being the abbreviation for "South East Lancahire North East Cheshire".
From right to left we have -
Atlantean/ East Lancs TWH 809K, of 1971, which I believe was ordered by Bolton Corporation, but delivered to Selnec, and owned by Bolton Bus Group,
Fleetline/ Northern Counties VNB 177L of 1972,
Fleetline/ Park Royal WWH 43L of 1973,
Atlantean/ Northern Counties PNF941J of 1971 - EX1 being the first prototype for the Manchester Standard,
Atlantean/ Park Royal WBN 955L of 1972 (in red),
these latter four owned by the Selnec Preservation Society.
