It's pretty surreal standing here with a housing estate just to the left, when for so many years it was a field!

However the shot still works, seen here with the 15.30 Loughborough - Leicester around 30 minutes behind schedule. I presume D5185 was tagged onto the back to try to catch up time at Leicester, saving the running round.

I'd hoped this would be the recently arrived green 37, but sadly not, however the 25 looks good on the 14.00 Loughborough - Leicester.

The hawthorn blossom around here was quite magnificent.

A last set from Saturday, with a couple of hours at the GCR.

Here BR Standard Class 5 73156 slows for the Swithland stop with the 13.00 Dining train, running somewhat late.

Not a good day for steam photography really, being the warmest of the year so far!
