Geislingen; 194 107 drifts back downhill from Amstetten after a banking turn, 01.03.86.

Had this been in Britain, even back in the 80's, there would no doubt have been great trauma at me standing here, with the Police being called etc. Thankfully other countries are more sensible!

Geislingen; a very matt 194 081 awaiting its next banking duty, 01.03.86.

The loco was completed by AEG in February 1943, and was allocated originally to Augsburg, just down the line from here.

Also a product of AEG, dating from September 1943, the loco went to Salzburg depot when new.

Note the slight difference in livery style, with 194 107 carrying a white stripe along the main body side. I presume as well that the paint work on 194 081 on the right is older, being more faded and drab.
