The Devil's Den in the first snow of 2024. The megalithic monument is the remains of a prehistoric tomb tucked in a valley that has been farmed for millenia. It's a few miles from the better-known stone circle at Avebury. Legends of the devil and his minions surround the site. We traipsed through fields in the sleet and snow to pay a visit. A desaturated gray edit seemed to best fit the mood of the scene. Happy winter to all.
