So I recently decided to convert the XL-15 spaceship from the film "Lightyear" into original Blacktron colors. The blue became yellow, and white was turned to black, with all the trans-green changed to trans-red. I added laser blasters under the wings where some technic pins are and put a different control tile in the cockpit. I am still missing six yellow 1 x 1 quarter circle tiles on the wings for the Blacktron logo, but they (and the pilot figure) should be here soon. I was thinking about building a second one, but then again, getting some of the parts from Bricklink was a total pain due to low quantities in the needed color. (I'm talking about you, 3 x 3 wedge plate in yellow!)

This model was inspired by set 3831, (Rocket Ride, from the 2008 Spongebob line) albeit with a pointier nose cone, gray color scheme, and a more organized inside with NO stickers! The model has four inside levels a elongated engine section and larger tail fins, along with a crew of two humans and a robot helper.

Here is what I've been working on for a year or so on my computer in LDD, and more recently in real life. Overall this 101 studs long beast in real life is quite light, although it's not to easy to hold while taking a photo... I had to have another person help me with this picture as the 14 top and bottom stands that keep it level on the table don't make very good holding points for flight!
The eight yellow triangular things are movable solar panels, while the cockpit seats two Classic Space mini-figures. The large super-laser emitter on the front is a Death Star-like cannon, used only in times of last resort against unfathomable enemies to the normally peaceful Classic Space fleet. (this would mean potential Blacktron, Robotron or Spyruis incursions, if it hadn't been sent into a Black Hole and time traveled back 200,000 years within minutes of first coming online in 1988.)

I call this 90+ stud long spaceship Pioneer-74 because I like naming things after old space probes (Pioneer, Odyssey, Voyager, etc.) while the "74" part of the name is because that's what year it was launched. It has a certain retro look to it, almost like it came from the old Space: 1999 TV show. The brick separator solar arrays and engines have been built IRL for years with nothing interesting to tack them onto, so finally doing something with them makes me happy. The rest is heavily inspired by two CITY space sets (60227 and 60349, respectively) in orange for the LEGO Universe-inspired space theme, the Nexus Force. Also of note, Pioneer-74 is modular, so it can be extended if I wanted later on. (This should also make transportation easier.)
Sorry for the cruddy picture, it was the best I could do. It's far too long for my normal picture taking places! (More pictures to come as soon as I can!)

These train cars are owned lock, stock, and shotgun barrel by Lord Sam Sinister to get his loot to Sinister Hall (his ancestral home in the north of Scotland, which you can see here: www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/148683-a... ) on his own private railway siding, near the border with the tiny independent island nation of Ogel.
