The Redruth Drapery Stores Limited had stores on both sides of the street in the West End area of Redruth. The company was first incorporated 5 November 1919.
Long closed as the furniture department. I only ever remember this store as being Arts and Graphics back in the 1970's. Many hours were spent here buying art supplies. It closed as an art store in 2012 and then became The Green Room (a bar) and then West End Bar and Grill. The West End Bar and Grill closed last week after only a short time of trading and this wonderful building's lease is now up for leasehold again.
Fortunately through all it's changes over the years the building has retained the magnificent curved glass windows. HWW!
