After parking the car it was a short walk downhill to Traigh Mangarstadh (Mangersta) to watch the surf roll in. As I explored the rock formations along the southern end of the beach, I came upon these rocks. When I came behind the seaweed covered rocks, the angle of the sunlight turned the strands of draped seaweed into strands of gold.
Traigh Mangarstadh (Mangersta) is located on the B8011 on the western coast of the Isle of Lewis.
