d24963a. This is a new weed record (new species, genus and family) for Queensland, except that it has not been accepted. I sent a specimen and these photos to the Qld Herbarium, which clearly show that this plant has spread along a road verge and survives very well as a feral species, with presumably a lot of potential for spread. But it was rejected, as it was deemed to not be a big enough population to warrant a record. So much for early weed detection!
