This bird just has a little bit of yellow on the belly.

d59768a. Rainbow lorikeets are feral in WA. They are now very common. They are aggressive little buggers. This one with its partner displaced the pair of ringnecks and took over the hollow for the night!

d59767a. The twenty-eight parrot is endemic to the southwest corner of WA. It is a subspecies of the western ringneck, or Australian ringneck if you follow the broader interpretation.
The bird on the right is a twenty-eight parrot, having an all-green belly. The bird on the left is a twenty-eight - Port Lincoln parrot intergrade, as evident by the partly yellow belly.
Port Lincoln parrots range from the WA wheatbelt to the Flinders Ranges and Eyre Peninsula in SA. They have a full yellow belly.
I have seen quite a lot of intergrades where these two subspecies come together.
