Yes, the heart for sure is an invention, and otherwise does not exist at all. The heart is that which loves, and that which loves is ephemeral and is everywhere. Ergo, it may only be a thought, a warmth in the fingertips, a streak of exhaled air, a dampened color of voice, merely a whisper.
