The book title "The Harvester" . The hero of the story harvests herbs for a living and lives a quiet country life when one evening he has a vision of his dream girl and the story is about his quest to find her.
Written by Gene Stratton-Porter and published in 1911. It combines a love of nature, romance, high moral ideals and a good plot. The two herbs I am showing here are mint and dill. HMM!!

The Glen Burnie Gardens are extensive and beautiful. We came across a photo shoot and helped ourselves to some shots too! LOL

I love to travel the back roads of the rural areas of our state. And good times to do it are when we are "chasing the light"; that is when the sun and clouds are making cool light patterns on the earth. This past Sunday was one of those days. I think, as red as the barns were this farm had been painted recently. Anita is off this week and yesterday we had a work day where I helped her paint a shed and she helped me do some "yard projects" so today we are going riding. :)

Thank you for the challenge! My first ever (intentional) double exposure and in Macro... wow! My camera does not have a double exposure mode so I had to figure out how to use the GIMP program some nice Tech guy had loaded on my computer a long time ago, but I never used.... let's just say Google is my friend! LOL. This is a picture looking straight down into a glass of ginger ale (lit by flashlight) with a candle photo overlaid on top. The glass is 3 wide at the top diameter and the candle no more than an inch.
