At the entrance to Chatham Manor which overlooks the city of Fredericksburg Virginia. I visited this place with my photography group and the gardens are quite extensive and well laid out. The house itself has a sad history having gone through the Civil War and during that time was used as a hospital.

Fall is on its way! Photo was taken at the Chatham Manor in Fredericksburg Virginia. It's a rainy, dark, gloomy day here in Virginia and I love it! Perfect for planning this weekend's camping trip which will mostly happen in West Virginia..... I think........

Certainly not the best Bee in flight photo ever taken but pretty good for me! LOL I love his pollen laden pantaloons. These Flowers are in the gardens of Chatham Manor. We were there very early in the morning and there was still a heavy dew on most of the flowers. Might explain the sleeping bee I found (see below). I thought it was a fake plastic thing stuck to the flowers of one bush but as I looked very close it slightly moved it's head.
