It's weird but going out last Sunday with Anita, I hardly lifted the camera for a snap. But coming back when it started to snow... Everything all of a sudden looked new and interesting again! Such was the case with this little red barn. It's only a few miles down the road from my home and I see it all the time, but with the snow.... different! It had a nice tin roof for years but then a big wind came and blew this side of the roof off. They repaired it that time but then the wind came again and blew it off and this is how it has sat for a long time. It looks like a tarp on it but that is the actual tin of the roof. It was a powerful wind! Such a cute little barn too it's a shame.....

Anita and I were able to get out for a bit of a ride yesterday. We didn't go too far as the weather got progressively worse and our path home led up over a mountain. Road conditions there were not good and within a 8 or 10 mile stretch we counted 4 vehicles that had slid off the road and were perched at precarious angles in ditches and up against embankments. People in this area refuse to slow down! But for me, it gave lots of snow photo opportunities! :) The snow barely covered surfaces and was gone by nightfall as snow turned back to rain.
