From last winter, I stumbled upon this location. I arrived late, got out of the car, and someone commented on my tri-pod. A photog!!! So I asked, was directed to the site and tried to stay warm with the color display.

The vessel is in the Port of Vancouver, WA. The railroad bridge in the foreground connect from Vancouver BC to San Diego.

In the backbround, the drawbridge is an interstate highway bridge running from BC to Mexico.

Sigh. When I arrived in 1979, it was inadequate to handle the traffic. Nothing different today, after hundreds of millions were spent.
