This former co-op bakery of 1912 still exists thanks largely to becoming part of a retail store. The bit on the right was added on when converted to a retail shop. Another well built co-op premises as they tended to be. Barry Road,Northampton...Aug 13 2017.

The former Savoy cinema in Northampton. This art deco building dates from 1936, the first film being shown was "Broadway Melody of 1936".From Aug 15 1958 it was ABC Savoy but was back to Savoy by 1960. It was ABC by 1963 and later Cannon in 1987. It had 1169 seats and was closed as a cinema in 1995 whereafter the Jesus Army acquired it and spent 6 million on a complete renovation, opening in 2005.
