A conference is a splendid occasion to practice drawing people as well as historic artefacts especially during the AGM. I was listening enough to keep up with the discussions and take part in the voting, especially the motion to offer honorary membership to my former colleague whom I have worked on a number of projects over the years. A conference is a splendid occasion to practice drawing people as well as historic artefacts. The delegates tend to be focused on the speakers and their slides rather than the person sitting at the back with a sketchbook. This person's hairstyle particularly caught my attention during a lengthy discussion at the end of one paper. Drawn with a Pentel 0.5 pencil on the back of the list of conference papers.
