I don’t get to go out on the trails much during the week because it’s dark when I go to work and dark when I get home. Even though I have been leaving a little earlier to come home this year, I’m still just exhausted by the time I am home. I started the day fighting off a headache, but the weather and my head cleared so we went out on the trails.

I love going for walks… I lived for years in a place where you literally took your life in your hands when you went for a walk because of idiot drivers who drove faster than they ever should. That being said, it’s another reason why I am happy to be up here now. Now once the days begin getting longer again I will be able to go on walks and rides again… I’ve missed them so!!

P.S. You can see Sophie chillin’ in the reflection of my wife’s glasses… she spent the whole walk chasing crows twice her size!

The weather cleared as did my headache, and I was able to take my wife and dog out for a walk on the trails. The puppy and I crashed from getting too warm, but we all had a great time.
