I cannot imagine a world without music- I don’t want to imagine such a place. I am always surrounded by music, whether I am working out, in the studio, or working on projects in-between meetings at work. I would rather sit and listen to music than watch any of the endless bantering garbage on televisions… I have always been that way and probably always will.
The more I sit and play music- or listen to it, the more I seem to love and appreciate it. The score pictured here is from an album that changed my life more than most albums. I think all music has that possibility to change and influence us- it’s just not always for the better!

I have a lifetime dream music project to journal through 500 of the greatest albums of all time. I have mixed the list with personal albums as well as albums rated high from the music associations around the world. This is how I have discovered some really great music.
Thanks to Amazon I’m able to listen to a lot of the music for free- some of the albums I have ended up purchasing because I was moved on just one listen- case in point Bob Dylan’s Time Out Of Mind album.
The songs are beautifully written, and a great series of stories surrounded by interesting and creative music that could be from none other than Bob Dylan. There are a few that just hit an instant nerve with me, and so they made it to my Amazon wish list right away.
I’m nearing the end of my list, and still have some potential hits still to be discovered- but this has been a great musical journey.

It’s Monday, so that means a lot of reporting and a lot of meetings. I spend a lot of time on meetings where I have to listen and not present playing guitar… It helps me think, it helps me relax, and I come up with some good riffs and compositions doing that. I have not sat down and really written out the music in my head in quite some time, but that is still something on my horizon!
