My Mailbox was in desperate need of a protective stain, so that was my Saturday project. I have to wait for the nest of bluebirds to fly away from the under side of my mailbox before I can set the varnish, but this will be a good start!

The fire pole that I use while camping became in need of repair... so I just remade it.

The first time I made this I over-shaved the pole because I didn't take the time to use a router, so the metal end was lose. It was effective, but could have been done better.

This new pole has a tighter fit, a better seal, and I've put quite a few layers of sealant on it to prevent it from being worn down.
This pole is such a great tool when handling campfires and moving wood around in the fire!
