I have always been very goal-oriented, so of course there's no shock that I have plans, projects, and goals for the new year. Some are really going to tax and challenge me- and that is exactly what I need.

The down side to having high ceilings in the workshop is that the flood lights are way up there when I need them up close… so I created a working solution.
This tower can be inserted on a T-Track and clamped down, or it can be used on any table and clamped at any angle. It can also be tall (seen here) or the top unscrews so it can be short depending on the space I have and where I need it. I can also clamp multiple lights to it, depending on just how much light my project needs demand.
I put it to the test today, working on another project and it was sheer perfection. When it comes to the drill press and routing, especially in the cold winter when the doors are closed, this is really going to come in handy.

Starting off my series of 2022 Guitar Tuesday themes with my favorite guitar… the Eddie Van Halen Signature Peavey Wolfgang Guitar.
One of my ambitions in 2022 is to really get my studio set up and cleaned up. I have so many guitars in their cases, just stacked on the floor (which doubles as my workout room). I have equipment stored and cables still zip tied together. Little by little I plan to get it fixed up, and be able to post more video in the New Year.

The start of the year for insurance companies is like the day after Thanksgiving for retailers; Open Enrollment kicks in, and the flood of calls begins the busiest time of the year.
For me it's the ideal time to begin re-coding the automation around the reports that will last for the year. With good coffee and good tunes, this is a very productive time of year for me.
