A few weeks ago I got an old P&S camera for $5, I wanted to convert it into a full spectrum infrared camera. So I took it apart and took out the infrared hot mirror filter. Most of my time was spent on getting the focus right, or as close as possible, had to take it apart many times. This was my first time taking apart a P&S camera and/or converting it.
