One place Xziva certainly shouldn't be is on our couch !
So you can imagine this was a fun photoshoot for her, she made herself comfortable on the cushions :)
She's a natural in this field I think.

Since the light came from above Xziva that was a challenge for me, luckely she was laying still !!
I hope it's not too dark although I do like blue on black shots :)

Xziva is our 7th Great Dane and we keep the ones we had close in our hearts.
Xera, Xera,Zenda,Gypsy,Amazing Smokey and Xanttha will never be forgotten.
When our first Dane Xera entered our life, we were her third and her forever family, and with her our love for the Dane was born. It has nothing to do with size but with their character !

Close-up of a hawser, the rope for mooring a ship.
Loved the colour of the hull, looks even beter because of the blending modes of the textures.
Textures used": kk_appreciate at linear burn and kk_cecile at darker colour.

I saw photo's like this on the internet and i wanted to try it with Xziva too.
It took a lot of photo's, it's so difficult to capture her deep set eyes and also they have a kind of mud colour.
After about 25 shots and some treats this is it !
I'm happy with her eyes.

It's a good day for her, it's Animal's day so she gets fresh meat today !!
