A Prairie Coyote (Canis latrans) keeps a watchful eye on all potential predators and watches as the year 2024 comes to an end and 2025 will soon be upon us.

This shot was taken on the edge of Jasper, Alberta, Canada, many years before the fire we had in 2024 but hopefully it will regenerate over time.
