New in December 2007, MX57 UPP was new to Stotts Coaches and was one of few Optare Solo SEs for the small Yorkshire based company. The bus was often seen in the Kirklees area working around routes not adequate for bigger buses. The bus was originally painted into the Metro Connect livery but latterly wore the Stotts Coaches livery a few years later.

Come 2023, the bus found further use at another independent in the shape of Yorkshire Buses from Rothwell, Leeds. The bus is often seen on routes 61 and 113 but its understood only once did the bus work the 29 shortly after the short lived extension to White Rose and Horsforth cease.

The bus was repainted in Yorkshire Buses' standard livery after being in all-white for a time with black paint above the windows. The bus was repainted in Yorkshire Buses livery after an enthusiast named Nottie Zactly-Wright drove the bus unlicenced and without permission whilst in service and almost crashed it whilst on the 61. After the controversy, Nottie was still working for the company but the bus due to insurance reasons had to be repainted. But what do you expect, that's Nottie Zactly-Wright...

And if you made it this far into the description now, yes unfortunately if you believed any of this, its sadly an April Fool's Day bit of fiction. The idea came from the fact if anyone has been following me on my Facebook page that I've been posting some controversial content about Yorkshire Buses since they delete comments on their fb page then block users who ask questions about where certain buses are which keep knocking.

And to those who saw the name 'Nottie Zactly-Wright, I would like you to say that name out loud, you'll understand why!

But, you never know though, could become reality. YB are in the midst of refurbishing and repainting some of their fleet. Watch this space...!

In Autumn 2024, although MX57 UPP has not been repainted yet, Yorkshire Buses has devalued the fiction in this upload now as they've repainted YJ05 WBY into the companies' cream, white and red livery looking almost like MX57 UPP in the drawing and even gone as far to have given the 19 year old vehicle a refurbishment with new red fabric for seats. Another April Fool's Day bit of fiction eventually turns reality! Whatever next....

'What are the chances?' - New in October 2020, 68802 was new to First West Yorkshire Leeds, Hunslet Park and is one of nine Yutong E10s for route 5 and were the first all-electric buses for the city.

The buses were new in the Leeds City livery and have not been painted into the First Electric livery which has been seen in York, Norwich and of course Leeds on Wright GB Kite/StreetDeck Electroliners. However, did you know a few of First York's 10 year old electric Optare Versas now wear this livery aswell? They are by far the oldest buses to wear it as the fleet have been off the road for some time pending new batteries and electrical equipment to be upgraded.

So yes, unfortunately this is a fictional bus drawing that I have gone and done as the repaint of some Optare Versas in York inspired me to do this. I highly doubt that the Enviro400 EVs on route PR3 would get painted in this livery anytime soon but I do think this livery will one day get seen on the Yutong E10s even if they transfer elsewhere for whatever reason.

Arriva's 1111 is no stranger to my feed as I drawn the bus twice now, back in 2018 but was re-uploaded with enhanced details last year. The reason was because 1111 is one of my favourite buses and I just could not resist doing this piece, just supposing... if one day I was to preserve the bus, what would it look like? Well, this is the result!

Lately there's been a trend in some preserved buses wearing liveries they never wore in real life, I personally love this idea as I was thinking of Mainline's fictional 2717 which is an ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TL which I mistook for a heritage liveried bus still in service to this day.

Because no Leyland Lynxes from the original Yorkshire Buses company (not to be confused with the one in Leeds working mainly old ex-London double deckers), I wanted to paint up a Volvo B7RLE from Arriva's Heckmondwike depot and paint it up in the red/cream livery with black lower panels, this affect really does work and adds more colour to the front.

To publicise my page and YouTube channel which is still under construction I added an advert to the rear which blends in to the livery, I don't mind adverts on buses which blend in, I just think the old traditional adverts on most of the buses today looking not just dated but most of the time unattractive especially the ones using contravision and opaque stickers.

Also to make no.1111 more 'Lynx-like', I would have white LED destinations on the front which they carried although they were the old rollers when new.

None of Yorkshire Buses' fleet wore chrome wheel fittings but I thought on the Wright Eclipse Urban and on black wheels, they really look nice.

At the moment, this project is wishful thinking because with a lot of preservation projects its not an easy task to make physically and financially, not to mention I don't have a driving licence, all my knowledge is on games like Bus Simulator 21 and Bus Simulator City Ride, at the moment that's as close as its going to get as a result.

*Fictional upload*

35508 was new to First West Yorkshire in December 2018 and was one of an ongoing fleet of Wright StreetDecks for the region.

35508 doesn't carry this Leeds City Transport livery nor has it ever done along with the rest of the modern fleet these past few years, the last bus to wear the Leeds City Transport livery is Yorkshire Rider no.7575, an MCW Metrobus Mk2.

The more recent StreetDeck models would really suit the LCT livery due to their shallow upper deck windows and differently styled wheel arches which are both features of the 'jumbo' Leyland Atlantean which was already earlier this week. Also, the StreetDeck is powered by a Daimler engine, same as some of the jumbo Daimler Fleetlines which worked with Leeds City Transport, so there is some strong similarities with the Tommy Lord Boxes and today's variety.

The bus is on route 1 as this route has been going on for a long while now with its biggest changes being these past two years as the popular Beeston-Holt Park service was split in two first because of the work on-going in Leeds City Centre with roadworks so the Beeston-City Centre stretch was temporarily numbered 10 for a short time until route 1's new terminus is Weetwood or West Park. The Holt Park stretch links up with Leeds Bus Station which is exactly what route 1 was like until the late 90s as that used to serve Leeds Bus Station to Holt Park in Yorkshire Rider years at least using the exact route the 8 goes today.

35508 was branded red for the Headingley routes but because of Connecting Leeds coming up with their own colour coded routes across the entire West Yorkshire network the bus is now wearing the default two tone green livery.

*Fictional upload*

New in November 2019, 35602 was new to First West Yorkshire and is one of many Wright StreetDecks currently working in Leeds with the fleet still growing to this day.

Here the bus is given fictional number 5602 in a nod to no.37674 which still wears the Yorkshire Rider livery, although its future in the very much loved livery is pretty much uncertain as the bus is now working schools services in Halifax.

35602 works from Bramley and is often on route 50/50A as the drawing depicts. The route has been going on for some time through the Rider era linking Seacroft to Leeds.

Sadly 35602 doesn't wear the Yorkshire Rider livery as this drawing is only to demonstrate how a StreetDeck would look like wearing the Yorkshire Rider livery. From new, the bus is branded grey for the 4/16 services.

On 10/2/2023, 37674 was repainted into the Olympia 2 livery as the bus now works at Halifax. No plans as of yet that another bus will be painted in this livery but it would be nice though.
