The 1882 tracker-action pipe organ located in the gallery of St. Simon and St. Jude
Roman Catholic Church was the 129th organ built by Louis Mitchell, French Canadian
Organ Builder, of Montreal. The tracker organ, with its pure tonal quality and timbre, is
the ideal instrument for this church with its interior of Neo-Gothic design.
This lady went on to become the Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island. I am honoured to call her a friend.
