A wooden bench, humble and still,
gazing at the sea, so calm and tranquil.
Where time seems to softly fade,
a throne with no king, a shelter made.

No jewels, no marble, no riches grand,
just waves and breeze shaping the sand.
A temple with no walls, a shrine of peace,
where laughter and love never cease.

Here sat travelers, lost and free,
dreamers, poets, souls at sea.
Here were tears, here was delight,
here silence swallowed the noise of life.

And when the sun shines at its peak,
when the sky is clear, bright and sleek,
the bench just smiles, deep and true,
for it holds the world's best view.
